Our new Solo ambassador has been in Holland mixing up it up at the top of the fleet. Here we catch with him post event. "This Thermalite gear is really impressive" says Guy. "I raced my Solo over in Medemblik the last 3 days and the weather was certainly on the cool side, but the long john and top with a couple of base layers underneath worked a treat. Actually, on the first day (7°C, plus wind chill making it feel like 3°C) I also wore a drytop as well as, airing on the side of caution. Once I realized how warm the gear was I ditched the drytop and was more than comfortable whilst others moaned about being cold between races". "I was dry underneath with any moisture being my own sweat (nice), but the gear dried in no time… no soggy suit the next day for me!" Guy managed 1st Veteran and 6th Overall. He will be racing the circuit all season.
